Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin expressed confidence that multifaceted cooperation with Turkmenistan will continue to expand in 2026.

Mikhail Mishustin wrote this in a New Year's greeting to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

"Dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich, on behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on the New Year 2026!

I am pleased to note that Russian-Turkmen relations are successfully developing in the spirit of friendship, mutual respect, and consideration of each other's interests. Trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation are strengthening, and promising joint projects in various fields are being implemented," the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation said in a message published on January 1 on the TDH website.

"I am confident that our multifaceted cooperation will continue to expand in the new year, creating favorable conditions for launching new initiatives. This fully meets the interests of the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan," Mishustin noted.

"I sincerely wish you, dear Serdar Gurbangulyevich, good health, happiness, and success in your responsible public service, and peace and prosperity to the citizens of friendly Turkmenistan," Mikhail Mishustin concluded his message.
