Conference on the role of research in the oil and gas industry was held

A scientific and practical conference entitled "The Role of Research in the Oil and Gas Industry" was held at the Natural Gas Research Institute of the State Concern Turkmengas. The event was timed to coincide with Turkmenistan's Oil, Gas, and Geology Workers' Day.

Scientists, research fellows, and young specialists from the institute participated in the conference. Both leading scientists and young specialists presented their papers.

Participants discussed issues related to methane emission reduction at the SC Turkmengas, gas production technologies in flooded production wells, development of the Gazlydepe gas field, and the corrosive effects of hydrogenation processes.

Topics also included the current status of amine acid gas treatment plants at the Northern Balguyi and Kyukyurtli fields, innovative technologies for liquefied gas production, and the material and technical resources for establishing rubber production in Turkmenistan.

During the ceremony, frontline workers were presented with holiday gifts. Poet Bayramsoltan Gurbanova recited poems dedicated to oil workers and geologists and their significant contribution to strengthening the national economy.
