In his speech at the Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov summarized its main results and highly praised the significance of this important event.
"During the International Forum for Peace and Trust, key ideas and concepts, valuable assessments and proposals were voiced. These will find due support and understanding, and will be utilized and applied in real political and diplomatic work, cooperation and partnership between states, and in the activities of international associations and organizations," mentioned Hero-Arkadag.
"The distinctive feature of this Forum is its openness and the participants' willingness to jointly seek solutions to the most important issues of our time, their ability to perceive different points of view, and to respect the arguments and points of view of all parties," Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
"In this sense, the Forum set the right, viable geopolitical and economic vectors for the long term," emphasized the National Leader of the Turkmen people.
"Its content and messages are forward-looking, focused on broad horizons of strategic planning, priority setting, and a structured, systemic analysis of global trends in politics, economics, and the social and humanitarian spheres, across a wide range of sustainable development topics," claimed Hero-Arkadag.
"I believe that the speeches by the heads and members of the delegations, along with the broad exchange of opinions, clearly demonstrated that we are all united by a common understanding of the fundamental, objective, and indisputable reality—the need to create a comprehensive, indivisible security and development system that meets the genuine interests of all the peoples of the planet," said the head of the Halk Maslahaty.
He emphasized that "building such a system is possible with one fundamental condition—goodwill, mutual trust, and a high level of responsibility for the fate of the world." The desire to affirm these concepts and transform them into a defining factor in global politics prompted the initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Peace and Trust.
"The Forum confirmed that the values and ideals embodied in its title – Peace and Trust – are increasingly gaining support, no longer just abstract concepts, but real and effective factors in global development, a moral foundation and driving force for constructive interaction and cooperation," noted Hero-Arkadag.
