Eleven transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Business representatives from Turkey and Afghanistan purchased urea (SC Turkmenchemistry) and jet fuel produced at the processing facilities of the State Concern Turkmennebit for foreign currency.
Bedding sets, cotton yarn, cotton fiber, light industry waste, and licorice roots were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included China, Turkey, Switzerland, and Estonia.
The total value of the transactions exceeded 5.5 million US dollars.
Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene and base oil (SC Turkmennebit), as well as cotton fiber for the domestic market, totaling more than 58 million 625 thousand manats.
