At a meeting at the White House, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and US President Donald Trump confirmed their readiness to further expand and deepen interstate cooperation in key areas, TDH reported on November 7.
Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial ties with the United States, said Serdar Berdimuhamedov at a meeting with Donald Trump, which took place before the "Central Asia + United States of America" Summit.
Thanking the US President for the opportunity to visit the White House and for the invitation to participate in the high-level "C5+1" meeting, Berdimuhamedov noted that this format opens up new opportunities for strengthening cooperation across a wide range of areas between our countries.
The Turkmen leader expressed confidence that the Summit will be an important step in developing the traditionally friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the United States.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that, at Turkmenistan's initiative, the international community declared 2025 the "International Year of Peace and Trust," a move also supported by the United States. It was also noted that Turkmenistan attaches great importance to strengthening friendly and mutually beneficial ties with the United States.
At the end of the meeting, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Donald Trump reaffirmed their commitment to further expanding and deepening interstate cooperation in key areas, TDH reports.
