The President ordered the high-level holding of the International Forum “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2025”

On October 17, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via digital means, where a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on preparations for the 30th International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan 2025”.

As reported, over 70 foreign companies, approximately 30 local enterprises and private entrepreneurs have registered to participate in the exhibition, as well as relevant ministries and industry agencies of our country, which will present their exhibits. Approximately 1,390 delegates are expected to participate in the accompanying conference.

The forum plans to organize plenary sessions titled "Shaping the Future of Global Energy in the International Year of Peace and Trust – Innovation, Energy Transition, and Strategic Cooperation" and "The Growing Role of Turkmen Natural Gas: Expanding Exports and Promoting the Energy Transition," as well as thematic sessions on key issues.

In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal to the head of state for his consideration.

After hearing the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that annual forums and exhibitions dedicated to the oil and gas sector contribute to improving the fuel and energy sector.

In this regard, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to properly prepare for and host the International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2025" at a high level.
