Nine-month fuel and energy sector performance summarized at government meeting

On October 3, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers to summarize the country's work for the first nine months of this year, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the work accomplished from January to September of this year to increase oil and gas production and expand supply routes to global markets.
As reported, the State Concern “Turkmennebit” fulfilled its oil production plan by 109.7 percent.
Oil refineries fulfilled their oil refining plan by 109.4 percent for the first nine months of this year.
During the reporting period, the gasoline production plan was fulfilled at 108.8 percent, diesel fuel at 101 percent, lubricants at 100 percent, and natural and associated gas production at 103.1 percent.
Furthermore, the report reported on the technical and economic performance of polypropylene and liquefied gas production, as well as natural gas exports.
Summarizing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of effectively utilizing the production capacity of oil and gas enterprises. Emphasizing the need to discover new hydrocarbon deposits through the introduction of modern technologies and the continuous improvement of oil and natural gas refining operations, the head of state addressed the Vice-Chairman with relevant instructions.
