32 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Entrepreneurs from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Georgia purchased liquefied gas produced by the SC “Turkmengas”, low-sulfur fuel oil (SC “Turkmennebit”), and polyethylene pipes (SC “Turkmenchemistry”) for foreign currency.
Representatives of business circles from the UAE, Kyrgyzstan and Serbia also purchased raw fabric, denim products, licorice roots and rhizomes for foreign currency.
The total amount of transactions amounted to over 10 million 409 thousand US dollars.
For the domestic market, domestic businessmen purchased technical carbon produced by the SC “Turkmenchemistry”, base oil and petroleum road bitumen (SC “Turkmennebit”), as well as cotton yarn, licorice tea and iodine solution. The total amount of transactions amounted to more than 59 million 907 thousand manats.
