A high-level meeting between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan has started in the Avaza National Tourist Zone on August 22, the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Turkmenistan reports.
The trilateral summit, which is of great importance for the entire region, kicked off with an official photo session.
Before the talks, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev posed for a joint photo.
The agenda of the meeting is expected to include discussions of key issues aimed at expanding cooperation in transport, logistics, energy and trade.
