The President of Uzbekistan arrived in Turkmenistan on a working visit

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Turkmenistan on August 22 to participate in the summit in the format of "Turkmenistan - Azerbaijan - Uzbekistan", the News Portal of the State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of Turkmenistan reports.
The plane of the head of Uzbekistan landed at the international airport of the city of Turkmenbashi. In honor of the distinguished guest, a solemn welcoming ceremony was organized at the airport: a traditional carpet, an honor guard and greeting children in national costumes with bread and salt and flowers.
On behalf of the Turkmen side, the President of Uzbekistan was met by the Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Nokerguly Atagulyev. After the official ceremony, the delegation went to the national tourist zone "Avaza".
During the visit, bilateral talks are planned between the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
As part of the trilateral summit in the "Turkmenistan-Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan" format, the participants will consider issues of developing and deepening multilateral cooperation, primarily in the trade and economic, transport and communications, energy and humanitarian spheres.
Following the joint high-level meeting, the parties will sign a number of documents.
