A total of 48 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Representatives of business circles from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas produced at the technological installations of the State Concerns "Turkmengas" and "Turkmenchemistry" for foreign currency.

Cotton yarn and raw fabric were also sold for foreign currency. Buyer countries: Great Britain, Kyrgyzstan.

The total amount of transactions was more than 4 million 38 thousand US dollars.

Local businessmen purchased base oil and petroleum road bitumen (SC "Turkmennebit"), as well as cotton yarn and hand-made carpets for the domestic market. The total amount of transactions was over 97 million manats.
