Acceleration of the TAPI gas pipeline and other joint projects discussed in Islamabad

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Atajan Movlamov met with the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue of Pakistan, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the website of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan reported on August 12.
During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the financial and economic sphere.
Having emphasized the friendly nature of Turkmen-Pakistani relations, the parties expressed mutual interest in further deepening the partnership aimed at implementing mutually beneficial projects and initiatives.
Particular attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of the TAPI project, as well as expanding trade and economic ties, stimulating mutual investment and creating favorable conditions for business activity.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to developing a fruitful partnership, expressing confidence that the implementation of joint initiatives will contribute to sustainable socio-economic growth and strengthening mutually beneficial ties between Turkmenistan and Pakistan.
