"First of all, I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart on holding the Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries at the highest level under your chairmanship in the Avaza National Tourist Zone in the unique city of Turkmenbashi," the letter says.
"This forum is of particular importance because it comprehensively discussed issues of strengthening the economic, in particular transport interconnectivity of developing countries, primarily the states of Central Asia, increasing their transit potential, as well as further expanding opportunities for access to world markets," Shavkat Mirziyoyev wrote.
"The adoption of the Avaza Political Declaration and the approval of the Ten-Year Action Program within the framework of the event will undoubtedly serve these noble goals and our aspirations," the letter noted.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev also noted that "This International Conference is a clear practical confirmation of how the authority and prestige of neutral Turkmenistan in the international arena is steadily growing every year."
The head of Uzbekistan expressed confidence that a fruitful and open dialogue with the President of Turkmenistan "will give a powerful impetus to the development of multifaceted and long-term cooperation in all priority areas of our interaction."
"I am deeply convinced that your upcoming high-level visit to our country will allow us to bring good-neighborly relations and strategic partnership between our countries to a completely new level," the head of Uzbekistan emphasized.
