Since the beginning of 2025, the divisions of the Nebitgazdyupliabatlayysh trust of the State Concern “Turkmennebit“ have ensured additional production of about 81 thousand 830 tons of oil due to the overhaul of wells at the Goturdepe, Barsagelmez and Gamyshlyja fields, the Orient information agency reports.
As noted, the figure was 141% of the plan for the first half of the year. A significant contribution was made by the Gamyshlyja well overhaul department, whose specialists provided more than 24 thousand tons of oil above the established target. In this department, 32 wells were repaired, of which 24 were put back into operation.
In general, during the reporting period, 217 wells were overhauled at the trust's facilities against the plan of 199, the company noted. The work was carried out using equipment from the trust's motor transport and specialized department.
According to Turkmennebit, the restoration of low-yield and shut-down wells is one of the effective measures to increase hydrocarbon production volumes. The Balkan region remains a key oil production region in Turkmenistan.
