Effective development of Galkynysh field discussed at government meeting

On July 25, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered, TDH reports.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the activities of the oil and gas industry, in particular, the State Concern Türkmengaz.
As reported, work is currently underway to effectively develop the Galkynysh gas field, and the necessary measures are being taken to ensure long-term uninterrupted and reliable operation of gas wells.
In this regard, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal for consideration by the head of state.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the productivity of the development of the Galkynysh gas field. Having approved the proposal prepared for the purpose of increasing the efficiency of work carried out at gas wells, the head of state instructed the Vice-Chairman to take appropriate measures in this direction.
