On June 20, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered, TDH reports.

Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the work carried out at the oil and gas fields under the jurisdiction of the State Concern "Turkmennebit".

It was noted that appropriate measures are currently being taken for further development, in particular, power supply to the recently discovered Uzynada field. Along with its energy supply, this will also provide additional volumes of electricity to other nearby fields.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.

Summarizing the report, the head of state noted that all conditions are being created for the identification and development of new hydrocarbon deposits in oil and gas fields under the jurisdiction of the State Concern "Turkmennebit". Having approved the prepared proposal to provide electricity to the recently discovered Uzynada oil and gas field, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Chairman to carry out the appropriate work.
