Preparations are underway for the 8th meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on Cooperation in the Energy Sector

On March 27, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, the agenda of which included a number of issues of state life, TDH reports.

Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov, who spoke during the meeting, reported on the progress of preparations for the eighth meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on Cooperation in the Energy Sector, which will be held in April this year in Ashgabat.

As reported, the next meeting of the Commission from the Turkmen side is expected to be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshygeldi Kakayev, the State Concerns "Turkmengas", "Turkmennebit" and "Turkmenchemistry", the State Electric Power Corporation "Turkmenenergo" of the Ministry of Energy, the Closed Joint-Stock Company "Deňiz söwda floty".

In this context, the Vice-Chairman submitted a corresponding proposal to the President of Turkmenistan for consideration.

Summarizing the report, the head of state noted that our country is consistently developing partnership with the countries of the European region, including maintaining friendly relations with Romania.

In this regard, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure the proper level of preparation for the next, 8th meeting of the Turkmen-Romanian Working Commission on Cooperation in the Energy Sector.
