The government meeting discussed the results of the oil and gas sector for two months of 2025

On March 7, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, where the results of the work carried out in the economic sectors for two months of the current year were summed up, and a number of other issues related to the life of the country were discussed, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the results of activities in the oil and gas sector for January-February of this year.

Technical and economic indicators for oil and gas condensate production were reported. In particular, the oil production plan by the State Concern "Turkmennebit" was fulfilled at 105.8 percent.

During the specified period, the plan for oil refining was fulfilled by 102.4 percent, for gasoline production - by 102.2 percent, polypropylene - by 102.8 percent, lubricating oils - by 110.6 percent. The growth rate for liquefied gas production was ensured at the level of 125.3 percent.

It was also noted that during the reporting period, the plan for the production of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 104.2 percent.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Chairman to take comprehensive measures to increase the volume of hydrocarbon production, as well as effectively use the existing production capacities of the oil and gas sector, and continue the introduction of modern technologies in the industry.
