On February 28, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, the agenda of which included a number of issues of state life, TDH reports.

During the meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the progress of increasing the production capacity of oil refineries subordinate to the State Concern "Turkmennebit".

As reported, consistent steps are being taken to extract hydrocarbon resources from oil wells and expand international cooperation in the development of the petrochemical industry. A clear confirmation of this is the work currently being carried out within the framework of this cooperation to provide the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries with additional raw materials and effectively use its potential.

In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of Turkmenistan for consideration.

After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov approved the proposal on the rational use of production capacities of oil refineries under the jurisdiction of the State Concern "Turkmennebit", instructing the Vice-Chairman to take appropriate measures.
