Hero Arkadag: Bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Tatarstan have reached a new level

On February 18, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived in our country on a working visit, TDH reports.
Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that Turkmenistan highly values the development of relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. Constructive bilateral cooperation is directly served by regular meetings and contacts at the highest level.
In recent years, a lot of work has been done in the economic, political and other areas, thanks to which bilateral relations have reached a new level.
- Consistently building up the Turkmen-Tatarstan dialogue, we are taking effective measures in various areas, in which good results are achieved, - Hero Arkadag noted.
As noted, the favorable investment climate created in Turkmenistan and the growing authority of our country as a reliable partner in the international arena provide enormous opportunities for the progressive development of mutually beneficial trade and economic partnership.
- We in Turkmenistan highly value relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, - the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized, noting with satisfaction that today bilateral cooperation is steadily expanding on the principles of good-neighborliness, friendship and equality.
Interaction in the cultural, humanitarian, scientific, educational and sports spheres is consistently developing, which contributes to the strengthening of the Turkmen-Tatarstan dialogue.
Noting that in accordance with the Resolution of the UN General Assembly adopted on the initiative of Turkmenistan, 2025 has been declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust", the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty announced that on December 12 of this year, a representative Forum of the International Year of Peace and Trust will be held in the Turkmen capital in honor of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality.
Hero-Arkadag invited the guest to take part in the upcoming forum, expressing confidence that Rustam Minnikhanov’s participation would make a significant contribution to the successful holding of this large-scale international event.
