The President of Turkmenistan invited the head of Tatarstan to the International Forum in Ashgabat

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, at a meeting in Ashgabat with the head of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Rustam Minnikhanov, invited him to take part in a representative Forum to mark the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of our country, TDH reports.

During the meeting, the President of Turkmenistan confirmed the intention of the Turkmen side to continue active work aimed at strengthening multifaceted cooperation with fraternal Tatarstan within the framework of strategic partnership with the Russian Federation.

The head of state also recalled that, at the initiative of Turkmenistan, 2025 was declared the "International Year of Peace and Trust", which is enshrined in the relevant Resolution of the UN General Assembly. In this regard, on December 12, a representative Forum will be held in Ashgabat to mark the 30th anniversary of the permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan.

Having invited the head of Tatarstan to take part in it, Serdar Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that this would be a significant contribution to the successful holding of this major international event.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on the state and priorities of the further development of bilateral partnership, taking into account mutual interest.

As Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized, Turkmenistan attaches great importance to the development of relations with the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation. In this regard, it was emphasized that regular meetings and contacts at the highest level are one of the main factors of systemic and effective interaction.
