Turkmenistan delegation to take part in Caspian Economic Forum in Tehran

A high-level delegation from Turkmenistan will take part in the third Caspian Economic Forum, which will be held on February 17-18 in Tehran. This was stated by the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during a telephone conversation with the President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, TDH reports.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on an important task - the situation in the Caspian Sea, noting that both countries are interacting on this issue in bilateral and five-sided formats. In this regard, the head of the Halk Maslahaty proposed to intensify targeted cooperation.

During the conversation, the advisability of focusing the upcoming forum on solving economic, social, environmental and humanitarian problems in the Caspian was emphasized.
