Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Kyrgyzstan discussed bilateral cooperation issues by phone

A number of important issues of bilateral cooperation were discussed by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov during a telephone conversation that took place on Wednesday, January 29, TDH reports.

Noting with satisfaction the dynamic and consistent nature of the interaction between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan, Hero-Arkadag noted that in recent years this process has gained good momentum, covering more and more areas and directions.

It was also noted that in the international arena, our countries fruitfully cooperate on key issues of the global agenda. These are the preservation and provision of general and regional security, the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, ecology and water issues, and a number of other areas.

During the conversation, it was noted that bilateral relations between Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan are on the rise today. Contacts at the governmental, diplomatic, and departmental levels have been established on a regular basis.
