The Central Building of the Oil and Gas complex of Turkmenistan hosted a festive conference on the occasion of the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology on the theme «Achievements of the oil and gas industry in the year «The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy».

The forum, which was led by Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov, was attended by heads of the oil and gas complex, employees of organizations and enterprises. The Vice-Chairman read out the Congratulatory address of the President of Turkmenistan on the occasion of the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology. 

Then, oilmen, gas workers and geologists who had distinguished themselves by their professional skills and achieved high results in production were presented with valuable gifts in a solemn atmosphere on behalf of the head of state.

As you know, at the beginning of the year, the «The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy» by the Council of the Trade Union of Workers of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, the State Concern «Turkmengas», the State Concern «Turkmennebit», together with the newspaper Nebit-gaz, announced a number of competitions. During the celebration, the results of creative contests for the best article, essay, novel, and photo essay were also summed up under the thematic title «Nebitgaz — baýlygym, hazyna-genjim, waspyň etsin diller, saňa buýsanjym!» and «Ruhy dünýämiziň sönmez çyragy, ýürekleň buýsanjy dana Pyragy». 

According to the results of the competition «Nebitgaz — baýlygym, hazyna-genjim, waspyň etsin diller, saňa buýsanjym!», dedicated to the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology, 1st place was taken by the head of the department of the newspaper «Nebit-gaz» Oraznazar Kheshdekov, leading specialist of the Department of Production, Science and Technology of the SC «Turkmengeology» Guvanch Meretdurdyev, Head of the General Department of Administrative and Economic Management of the SC «Turkmennebit». 

Gulshat Garraeva, engineer of the Institute of «Nebitgazylmytaslama» of the SC «Turkmennebit», Sapargylych Durdygylyjov, head of the laboratory of the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the SC «Turkmengas», Serdar Depbiev, engineer of technological equipment of the production and technical department of the Balkangeophysics expedition of the SC «Turkmengeology», were awarded 2nd place. 

The winners of the 3rd place were announced as the operator of the 1st category of gas station No. 7 of the Turkmennebitonumleri Main Directorate of SC «Turkmennebit» Baymyrat Balakaev, junior researcher at the Geophysics Department of the SC «Turkmengas» Research Institute of Natural Gas Atageldy Durdyev, technician of the Laboratory of Economics of Geological Research and Assessment of Oil and gas Resources of the SC «Turkmengas» Research Institute of Natural Gas Durdyjemal Nurmyradova. 

According to the results of the «Ruhy dünýämiziň sönmez çyragy, ýürekleň buýsanjy dana Pyragy» competition, dedicated to the motto of 2024 – «The Fount of Mind of Magtymguly Pyragy», 1st place was shared between the engineer of the Geological Data Center of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Ogulsurai Garaeva, the chairman of the primary organization of the trade union of the Repair and Mechanical Plant of the trust «Nebitgazburawlayysh» of the State Corporation «Turkmennebit» Bagtygul Mammedova, the leading chemical engineer of the department «Turkmengazavtomatika» of the State Corporation «Turkmengas» Orazberdy Yazgulyev.

2 places were awarded to the chairman of the primary organization of the trade union of the Research Institute «Nebitdagnebit» of the SC «Turkmennebit» Bibi Atayeva, the head of the industrial geology department of the Research Institute of Natural Gas of the SC «Turkmengas» Oraznur Nurmuradov, the operator of the computer of the newspaper «Nebit-gaz» Jahan Odayeva. 

3 place was taken by the technician of the Department of Material and Technical Resources and Equipment of the SC «Turkmengeology» Rahman Byashimov, the leading specialist of the department of hydrogeology and engineering geology of the SC «Turkmengeology» Nazarmuhammet Gochyyev, the chief specialist of the economic department of the SC «Turkmengas» Mahri Mammedova.

All the winners were awarded with certificates of honor and valuable gifts from the organizers.

At the end of the meeting, an Appeal on behalf of employees of the oil and gas complex was made to the President of Turkmenistan.

In the afternoon, the celebration on the occasion of the Day of Workers of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology continued with a concert at the Cultural and Business Center of the SC «Turkmengas». Its program consisted of performances by artists who praised their beloved Homeland, the successes of independent neutral Turkmenistan achieved thanks to the progressive policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Celebrations on the occasion of the Oil and Gas Industry and Geology Workers' Day were organized by the SC «Turkmennebit» and the committee of the concern's trade union at the Oil Workers' Cultural Palace in the city of Balkanabat, Balkan region, as well as Mary region and Sakarchage Etrap mayor offices together with the management of «Marygazchykarysh» and Mary Oil and Gas Secondary Vocational School in the Palace of Culture of Shatlyk, Sakarchage Etrap, Mary region.  

During the festive events held in the cities of Balkanabat and Shatlyk, valuable gifts and certificates of honor were solemnly presented on behalf of the esteemed President to oilmen, gas workers, and geologists who work hard at fuel and raw materials fields and industries. The events ended with song and music performances by artists from the Palaces of Culture of Oil and Gas Workers.
