The President of Turkmenistan was awarded the jubilee medal «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 yyllygyna»

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was awarded the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 yyllygyna» («In honor of the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Pyragy»)  and a set of commemorative signs. The corresponding Resolution was adopted by the Mejlis of Turkmenistan. 

The ceremony of presenting the jubilee medal to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took place on December 9 at the end of the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Oguzkhan Palace Complex. The head of the Mejlis Dunyagozel Gulmanova read out the corresponding Resolution.  As noted in the document, the head of state was awarded the medal «for the outstanding services of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov in the comprehensive prosperity of our country, in strengthening cooperation, peaceful relations of friendship and brotherhood with the states of the world and authoritative international organizations, the world triumph of cultural and spiritual values, the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, in collecting and scientifically studying the rich and priceless literary heritage of the great thinker of the East, promoting and implementing important political, philosophical, social, humane, spiritual and moral views, educating the younger generation on the basis of the humane and spiritual and moral views of Magtymguly Pyragy, perpetuating the literary heritage of the poet on a legislative basis».

Proposals received from representatives of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, large public associations, labor collectives and citizens of the country were also taken into account.  Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that he was accepting the award established on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Pyragy – the medal «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» during the celebration of the 29th anniversary of Turkmenistan's neutrality as an award to the entire Turkmen people. 

This state award, the President emphasized, obliges us to continue to work with inspiration and hard work for the well-being of the Fatherland and the happy life of our courageous people.  On the same day, the head of state signed a Decree, according to which the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Vice-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, as well as the heads of the military and law enforcement agencies of our country were awarded the jubilee medal of Turkmenistan «Magtymguly Pyragynyň 300 ýyllygyna» and a set of commemorative signs.

It is planned to increase hydrocarbon production in Balkan region
