Turkmen-Chinese scientific and innovation forum to be held in November

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a resolution on holding the third Turkmen-Chinese scientific and innovation forum in Ashgabat on November 26-27.

According to the document, the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan has been entrusted with holding the forum «Innovations, New Technologies and Issues of Their Implementation in Production». The relevant ministries and departments have been instructed to assist the Academy of Sciences in organizing the forum.

Preparations for the upcoming forum were announced at a government meeting on October 25. It will discuss issues related to solving problems related to the implementation of scientific research results in production, as well as the further expansion of international scientific and technological cooperation.

 It is also planned to discuss new areas of Turkmen-Chinese cooperation in such areas as nano- and chemical technologies, research into new materials and energy, biotechnology and molecular biology, agriculture, ecology and genetics, information and communication systems, computer technologies, medicine and pharmaceutical production technologies, innovative economics and humanitarian sciences.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the great importance attached to the development of scientific and technical cooperation between Turkmenistan and countries of the world, including China. Having signed the corresponding resolution on holding the forum, the head of Turkmenistan instructed to ensure a high organizational level of this event.
