On October 18, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via a digital system, where a number of issues of state life were considered.
During the government meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Batyr Amanov reported on the preparations for the XXIX International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024", scheduled to be held in Ashgabat on October 23-25.
As noted, many representatives from various foreign companies, as well as domestic enterprises and entrepreneurs have registered to participate in the event.
It is expected that members of the Government, heads and representatives of ministries and departments, well-known oil and gas business structures, universities, heads of diplomatic missions accredited in Turkmenistan, local and foreign media will take part in the forum. The number of delegates is expanding every year, which indicates a growing interest on the part of foreign business circles in building up productive cooperation with our country.
It was reported that the agenda of the upcoming conference includes a plenary session "New trends in the global energy market and prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation", as well as six thematic sessions.
Summarizing the report, the head of state emphasized that the country annually hosts the exhibition and conference "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan". This international event contributes to the development of priority areas of the fuel and energy complex, a constructive exchange of experience in the implementation of advanced technologies in the oil and gas industry.
In this context, Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed the Vice-Chairman to ensure a high organizational level of the XXIX International Conference and Exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2024", which will be held in Ashgabat.
