Among the important topics discussed during the talks, held in an expanded format with the participation of members of the official delegations of the two countries, which took place at the Oguz Khan Presidential Palace Complex, was a discussion of the possibilities for further developing cooperation in the energy and transport sectors.

As President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, Turkmenistan is counting on the continuation and expansion of cooperation in the energy sector. In the overall asset, there is already a large implemented energy project – the Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan-China gas pipeline.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov confirmed our country's readiness to consider together with Kazakh partners the possibilities for a significant increase in energy supplies and expanding their transit configuration.

Transport and logistics are also a strategic area of partnership, which is due to the extensive capabilities of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan in forming transport and transit corridors along the East-West and North-South lines.
