Recently, during exploratory drilling at the Nogai field, located in the oil and gas-bearing Gogerendag-Ekerem region, a team of experienced drillers, led by drilling master Gurdzhi Taganbaev from the Korpeje Drilling Operations Department of the State Concern "Turkmennebit," successfully drilled well No. 7 with a planned depth of 2,500 meters. As a result, a flow of gas condensate was obtained from the red bed formation at a depth of 2,750 meters. The well's formation thickness ranges from 2,405 to 2,409 meters. The initial gas volume from the well was 262.8 cubic meters per day, with a gas condensate flow rate of 11.0 tons per day.

This achievement was made possible by the power of the ZJ-70-DS drilling rig, purchased from the People's Republic of China, capable of overcoming rock formations with ease. The well project was developed by the "Nebitgazylmytaslama" institute.

The discovery of rich oil and gas fields located in deeper layers (5,000 to 7,000 meters), found in resource-bearing Miocene and lower red-bed deposits in the eastern and southwestern regions of the country, contributes to strengthening the economic power of our homeland. Currently, active work is underway to explore the lower red-bed deposits at the Northern Goturdepe, Altygui, and Barsagelmez sites, where enormous reserves of natural resources are stored. Recently, a team of drillers led by Goturdepe Drilling Operations Department master Tachberdy Dadebaev drilled well No. 403 to a depth of 4,500 meters and put it into operation. The oil flow rate from the well was 13.0 tons per day. Additionally, a team of drillers under the direction of Alexander Filinov successfully completed drilling well No. 1355 at the Barsagelmez field and handed it over to the Oil and Gas Production Department. The daily output from this well was 12.9 tons. Moreover, drilling operations at wells No. 415, 197, and 368 at Northern Goturdepe, with planned depths of 4,800, 4,700, and 4,700 meters respectively, were expanded and brought closer to their target depths.

A series of successful achievements by the drillers also included obtaining a gas condensate inflow from production well No. 172 at the Altygui field in the Gogerendag-Ekerem oil and gas region. It is also important to note the contributions of scientists and specialists in the development of 25 wells since the beginning of this year, who theorized solutions to overcome emerging obstacles and predicted the presence of gas condensate based on drilling depth calculations.
