On October 5, a reporting meeting was held in the Central Building of the Oil and Gas Complex of Turkmenistan, where the results of the industry's enterprises for the first nine months of the current year, held under the motto "The Fount of Mind of Makhtumkuli Fragi ", were discussed. During the meeting, the tasks set for the country's oil and gas complex by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the digital meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on October 4 were discussed, where the results of the activities of all sectors of the economy were summed up, and specific ways of further progress in this direction were discussed.
Opening the reporting meeting, Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Batyr Amanov particularly emphasized that under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, in order to improve the activities of the industry and its consistent development based on modern achievements, the state is creating all conditions, modernizing the material and technical base, introducing innovative technologies, which, in turn, defines specific tasks facing the domestic fuel and energy complex.
During the meeting, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmengas" Maksat Babayev, the Chairman of the State Concern "Turkmennebit" Guvanch Agajanov, the Chairman of the State Corporation "Turkmengeology" Gurbangeldy Garlyev, as well as the heads of associations, departments and enterprises of the complex spoke, reporting on the work done during the reporting period and voiced tasks for the near future.
At the reporting meeting, speeches were heard on the topic of priority tasks outlined during the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan held on September 24, in particular, increasing the potential of the oil and gas industry, building new specialized complexes for processing oil and natural gas, and improving geological exploration work.
The speeches also included information on the progress of work on the construction of the main section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India gas pipeline along the Serhetabat-Herat route, called "Arkadagyň ak ýoly", the increase in the pace of work at the Galkynysh field, the need for timely preparatory work for the upcoming winter season, as well as other equally important areas.
During the meeting, Vice-Chairman Batyr Amanov emphasized the importance of consistently continuing work on the implementation of innovative technologies and the adoption of comprehensive measures, in accordance with the instructions of the head of state, in order to increase the production capacity of the complex's enterprises, and outlined the specific tasks facing the State Concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”.
At the reporting meeting, the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Oil and Gas Issues, Ashyrguly Begliyev, having emphasized the priority areas in the fuel and energy complex of Turkmenistan, voiced his proposals for further increasing the pace of development of the activities of the State Concerns “Turkmengas”, “Turkmennebit”, and the State Corporation “Turkmengeology”.
