The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the sadaqah on September 25 in honor of the 33rd anniversary of independence and the successful completion of the Halk Maslahaty meeting of Turkmenistan, which took place in the Turkmenbashi Spirituality Mosque, located 15 km from the capital, TDH reports.
First of all, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov laid flowers at the memorial in the mausoleum next to the mosque.
Bouquets were also laid by the Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, Vice-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, as well as diplomats and heads of international organizations accredited in our country.
The Mufti of Turkmenistan read a prayer for the repose of the souls of the deceased, paying tribute to the memory of the first President of Turkmenistan Saparmyrat Niyazov.
Then Hero Haji Arkadag and Haji Arkadagly Serdar went down to the lower floor of the Mausoleum. Here the Mufti of the country read the Ayat-Tovir for the repose of the soul of the deceased first President of Turkmenistan.
After the Mufti of Turkmenistan read the Ayat-Tovir, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the head of state went to the Turkmenbashi Spirituality Mosque. Along the way, Hero-Arkadag and Hero Arkadagly Serdar got acquainted with the architectural features of the mosque, which was reconstructed, and the improvement of the adjacent territory.
The major modernization of the mosque with a capacity of 10 thousand people was carried out with the support of the President of the country. Both in the external design of the mosque and in the interior decoration, valuable building and decorative materials were used.
Then Hero Arkadag and President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the sadaqah in memory of all the deceased. At the end of the meal, the National Leader of the Turkmen people asked the mufti of Turkmenistan to read the Ayat-Tovir. At the end of the sadaqah, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan and the President of Turkmenistan warmly bid farewell to the participants of the event and left the scene.
