Delegates from 35 countries to attend TIF-2024 Investment Forum in Ashgabat

More than 350 delegates from 35 countries have registered for the TIF-2024 Investment Forum, which will be held on September 10-11 in Ashgabat. The event, organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will become a platform for discussing current issues of economic development of the country and the region, the forum organizers report.

The business meeting will provide a unique opportunity to present Turkmenistan's investment opportunities in such promising areas as energy, transport and communications, agriculture and the digital economy. Delegates will be able to establish business contacts with representatives of government agencies, large businesses and international financial institutions.

 Confirmed speakers include Minister for Integration and Macroeconomics of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Sergey Glazyev, Director General of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) Francesco La Camera, Director of the Central Asian Institute for Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Kabir Jurazoda and others.

For representatives of Turkmenistan, TIF 2024 opens up broad prospects, including attracting foreign investment, diversifying exports of products and services, and studying best practices.
