A competition dedicated to Fragi’s work was held at the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern «Turkmengas»

The results of the competition dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi were summed up at the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern «Turkmengas». The creative competition, organized by the newspaper “Nebit-gaz” together with the primary women’s organization of the State Concern “Turkmengas”, was attended by advanced production workers of the complex, students of the Yagshygeldi Kakaev IUOG and others.

The event started with a performance by artists from the Cultural and Business Center and the children's dance group «Galkynysh». The literary and artistic composition with the participation of the Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Batyr Charyev, who performed in the guise of an outstanding poet, was also warmly received by the audience.

Then the editor-in-chief of the newspaper “Nebit-gaz” Ussa Ussaev, the chief specialist of the State Concern «Turkmengas», the chairman of the primary women’s organization Mahri Mammedova, the head of the geophysics department of the Natural Gas Research Institute Hatyja Chopanova, who emphasized the important role and significance of the literary heritage of the great Fraga in the life of the Turkmen people . The speakers also noted the wide popularization of the works of Magtymguly Fragi, whose work is today recognized as an integral part of the world cultural heritage. As a result of the tireless efforts of the Hero  Arkadag and the President of Turkmenistan, grandiose projects are being implemented at the state level aimed at perpetuating the memory of the poet-philosopher, who is rightfully considered the founder of Turkmen classical literature.

The first place in the competition was taken by the accountant of the TCOR of the State Concern «Turkmennebit», a member of the Turkmenbashi city Halk Maslahaty Shemshat Nefesova, the second place was awarded to the correspondent of the newspaper «Nebit-gaz» Akgul Saparova and the engineer of the Geological Information Center of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Ogulsurai Garayeva. The third place was shared by the leading specialist in special affairs of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Gulshat Muratmuhammedova, the chief economist of the «Marygazchykarysh» department Maysa Hallyeva, and the specialist of the «Ashgabatgaz» department of the «Turkmengazupjunchilik» association Bayramgul Setdarova. The winners were awarded Certificates of Honor, valuable gifts and bouquets of flowers.

The award ceremony smoothly flowed into a festive concert with the participation of artists from the Cultural and Business Center.
