On April 19, at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakaev, an International scientific and practical conference was held on the topic “Scientific worldview of students in the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state”. In addition to the participants of the II Open International Olympiad in Informatics students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, teachers and students of capital universities also took part in the event.

 As noted, our country, following international obligations, is developing effective cooperation in the main areas of global development.  In this area, international youth cooperation is promoted as one of the important areas.  In the speeches of the conference participants, it was noted that the youth of Turkmenistan are taking leading positions, making a worthy contribution to the further development of our fatherland, increasing its international authority, as well as effectively solving problems to ensure the prosperous life of the people.

 In the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of powerful state, the formation of patriotic, moral, educated, scientifically savvy, physically and spiritually healthy youth is one of the priorities of state policy.  Youth is seen as a strategic resource of every country and a force playing a growing role in global processes.

In order to strengthen the legal basis of the youth policy pursued in the country, expand the opportunities created for the younger generation, contributing to the fuller realization of the multifaceted potential of youth, a draft of a new edition of the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Youth Policy” was developed, and the State Program in the field of state youth policy of Turkmenistan was adopted  for 2021–2025, and an Action Plan for its implementation was approved.  This is further evidence of our country’s commitment and contribution to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

 The happy youth of our independent homeland are moving forward at a dynamic pace, demonstrating high results in work, study, scientific activities, sports and creative fields.  Thus, students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan achieved high results at the II Open International Olympiad in Informatics, held at the IUOG.

 At the end of the conference, an award ceremony took place for the winners of the International Olympiad, who were awarded medals and diplomas.

 The winners of the Olympiad were also solemnly presented with valuable gifts on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

 At the forum, it was noted that Turkmenistan pays close attention to strengthening effective international cooperation; in this regard, words of sincere gratitude were expressed to the head of state and the Hero- Arkadag, who provide comprehensive support for strengthening fraternal friendly relations, including the development of the international youth movement.

 Song and musical performances by the creative team of the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakaev gave the event a particularly festive atmosphere.  Participants of the International Olympiad and scientific-practical conference adopted an Address to the President of Turkmenistan.
