 President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent sincere congratulations to Asif Ali Zardari on his election as President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, TDH reports.

 “I look forward to working together with you to further develop new areas of friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan,” Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in his message.

 It should be noted that Turkmenistan and Pakistan are participants in a large infrastructure project for the construction of the TAPI (Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India) gas pipeline with a capacity of 33 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
