On January 26, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with the participation of the leaders of the financial, economic and oil and gas complexes, at which the tasks for the further economic development of our independent state in 2022, as well as development issues in accordance with the realities of the time of the regions and improving the welfare of the people, were discussed.
During the meeting, the Leader of the Nation noted that, given the importance of the oil and gas complex for the country's economy and for the further development of the industry, he came to a decision to issue investment funds to the State Concern «Turkmengas» and the State Corporation «Turkmengeology».
Following this event, on January 27, workers of the oil and gas complex of our country in the Central building of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan held a conference on the topic “A new stage in the development of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan in the era of people with Arkadag”.
Vice-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Shakhym Abdrakhmanov, State Minister – Chairman of the State Concern «Turkmengas» Batyr Amanov, Chairman of the State Corporation «Turkmengeology» Merdan Rozyev, employees of the oil and gas complex, representatives of the media, teachers of the IOGU named after Yagshygeldy Kakaev spoke at the solemn conference.
In the speeches, they noted the progress in the implementation of major projects carried out under the leadership of the President, the importance of investing in the oil and gas and geological industries, the effective use of financial resources, reports were heard on the implementation of programs for the development of the country's oil and gas complex in the «Epoch of people with Arkadag».
During the meeting, the consistent increase in production capacity and export potential of the industry was especially emphasized, which is of great importance both for strengthening the power of the national economy and for improving the social and living standards of the people.
The solemn conference was decorated with performances of musical performers of the Cultural and Business Center of the State Concern «Turkmengas».
At the end of the event, its participants adopted an Appeal to the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
