Our country has about 10 percent of the world’s proven oil resources, which undoubtedly causes a feeling of immense pride in every Turkmen citizen. The use of this incalculable wealth of the Turkmen land in the interests of our people is one of the priorities of the state policy of the President of Turkmenistan. This is vividly evidenced by the great work carried out at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries of the Türkmennebit State Concern, which is the flagship of the fuel and energy sector of the national economy.
It is noteworthy that on June 5, 2023, which is held under the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, it will be 80 years since the oil refinery in Turkmenbashi began supplying its first marketable products to consumers. Thanks to impressive state investments, factories for the production of various types of commercial products from crude oil and modern facilities of supply structures were put into operation there.
