At the extended sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 10 of the year being held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” and devoted to the results of the past six months of this year, the esteemed President emphasized the importance of continuing the modernization of oil and gas enterprises. The head of state stressed the need to consistently expand production capacity, to improve the efficiency of geological exploration, to identify new hydrocarbon deposits and to promote environmentally friendly products, issuing relevant instructions. Based on these objectives, the workers and specialists of the production facilities of the Türkmennebit State Concern are working with great enthusiasm, striving to achieve high milestones in the year that will solemnly celebrate the glorious 35th anniversary of our sacred independence.
Over the past six months, the volume of “black gold” extracted from the earth’s bowels within the Concern has approached 2 million 53 thousand tons. During the reporting period, the Nebitgazçykaryş Trust’s oil production directorates produced 155,800 tons of oil above the established plan, achieving 108.5 per cent of the target. Hazarnebit, a state-owned enterprise operating in the Concern’s offshore area, also achieved excellent results, producing 1,127 tons of oil above the plan.
