Derkar was again offered another responsible position. This was not an easy task, but rather a serious one indeed. In order to adequately fulfill the assigned task, profound knowledge, great skills and extensive business experience were required. Derkar also understood that not everyone could be appointed to such a position. He thought to himself, “If the administration offers me this job, it means that they trust me. And in order to justify the trust placed, I will have to make an effort.” So, Derkar Bekdurdiyev began working as the chief technologist at the Lebapnebitgazgözleg expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation. This happened in March 2020.
We consider it appropriate to note that there was nothing unusual in Derkar’s appointment to a new position. After all, despite his young age (he was then a little over thirty), his candidacy as a graduate (in 2011 he successfully graduated from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute (now the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering) with a degree in drilling oil and gas wells) was quite suitable for the position of chief technologist.
