From the first days of 2023, the year “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar”, the gas workers of the Boldumsazetrapgaz Gas Supply Organization of the Daşoguzgazüpjünçilik Directorate have been achieving high results in providing the population and enterprises of the etrap with valuable “blue fuel”. Our particular attention was drawn to the activities of employees of the branch of the Organization located in the town of Gubadag, carried out along inter-farm high-pressure gas pipelines. According to the head of the unit Begmurad Amanmedov, gas workers under his supervision control the proper operation of about 1,400 kilometers of gas pipelines of various pressure and more than 370 gas control and distribution installations today.
“Winter is a period when the workload of gas workers increases. This season, with the commissioning of heating systems for residential buildings, educational institutions and industrial enterprises, the consumption of natural gas increases significantly. As a result, the pressure in gas pipelines and gas distribution and control devices increases several times. In addition, there is a risk of finding a malfunction in the bends of gas pipelines, since in too cold weather the liquids contained in natural gas accumulate in these places and freeze, preventing the continuous flow of ‘blue fuel’. That is why the employees of the Inspection Service for external gas pipelines and gas control equipment carry out well-coordinated work around the clock for the smooth operation of facilities belonging to our Gas Supply Organization,” B. Amanmedov says.
