Concern for the wellbeing of the people is a key direction of the state policy, successfully pursued in the years of independence. In accordance with the National Program of the Socioeconomic Development of Turkmenistan, one of the main tasks carried out in the country is the gasification of settlements. To date, the benefits of “blue fuel” are also used by residents of remote settlements of our homeland. Thus, as a result of the successful implementation of the large-scale program for the gasification of cities and villages, natural gas is also continuously supplied to the households in the Halach etrap, Lebap velayat.
“The number of households using natural gas in our etrap exceeds 15,000,” Yhlas Abdyllayev, Head of the Halachetrapgaz Organization of Gas Facilities says. “More than 110 of our employees of various qualifications are involved in the continuous supply of residents with “blue fuel”, they monitor the smooth operation and serviceability of gas pipelines of various pressure with a total length of more than 803 kilometers and 404 units of gas distribution and regulatory installations. In the near future, the number of households, using natural gas, will increase, as the work on the gasification of new settlements in three gengeshliks of our etrap continues at full speed.”
