Water is the greatest value of humanity, one of the most important substances on earth. Water is the source of life; where there is water, there is prosperity and development. Based on this, in recent years, large-scale work has been carried out in order to successfully implement the General Program for Providing Clean Drinking Water to Settlements of Turkmenistan. As a result, the tasks of providing populated areas of the Lebap velayat with drinking water are being successfully solved. Experienced specialists of the Koytendag geological research party of the hydrogeological expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation are actively participating in this important work.
“In order to reliably supply the cities and villages of the eastern velayat with drinking water, we are conducting research to find new deposits of groundwater and to determine its resources. Recently, we have successfully completed two important projects,” said the chief geologist Shanazar Anarov, who acquainted us with the work done.
