During a working trip to the Balkan velayat, which took place on January 13, 2022, the Hero-Arkadag acquainted himself with the projects of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation, containing information on the rich deposits of hydrocarbon resources of the western region in the Uzynada field, where in recent years work has been intensively carried out to develop underground storage facilities, and instructed to continue prospecting and exploration work in the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea.
“This historical moment served as an impetus for our activities, giving us even more confidence and pride, since the first prospecting and exploration work at this promising site was carried out by our team in 2013. Today, abundant flows of hydrocarbons are produced here. The two- and three-dimensional seismic surveys we carry out on the basis of fixed plans include profile, gravimetric and other research methods, the assessment of oil and gas content of formations and in-depth studies aimed at obtaining an increase in hydrocarbon resources,” Chary Sopiyev, chief geophysicist of the Balkan Geophysical Expedition of the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation, says.
