Drillers from the Nebitgazburawlaýyş Trust, a subsidiary of the Türkmennebit State Concern, are achieving outstanding labor success. They dedicate their victories to this landmark year, which is being held under the motto “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses”, and is marking the glorious 35th anniversary of the country’s sacred Independence. In the first six months of the current year alone, drilling specialists successfully completed work on 12 production wells, reaching a total of 67,516 meters underground. Thus, the planned targets were met by 112.5%. Remarkably the majority of the drilling – 52,090 meters – was in production wells.
A significant contribution to these achievements was made by specialists from the Goturdepe Drilling Directorate. Thanks to their efforts to commercially develop underground formations in the Goturdepe and Uzynada fields, the number of completed productive wells has increased by five, four of which have become production wells. Working at fields with abundant hydrocarbon resources, drillers have completed wells No. 176, No. 311 and No. 414 at the Northern Goturdepe field ahead of schedule and with high quality since the beginning of the year. After completing the necessary technical adjustments, the facilities were handed over to oil workers from the Goturdepenebit Oil and Gas Production Directorate, and they are now consistently producing commercial output. Such high results were achieved largely due to the regular renewal of the equipment fleet and the introduction of modern powerful drilling rigs.
