The work to ensure the proper supply of natural gas to residents, institutions and businesses in the city of Dashoguz, located on the picturesque banks of the Shabat River, is a source of particular pride. This work is carried out by the team of the Daşoguzgazüpjünçilik Directorate, one of the oldest and most experienced divisions of the Türkmengaz State Concern. These specialists are currently monitoring the operation of the unified gas system of the regional capital around the clock. They are constantly overseeing nearly 790 kilometers of gas pipelines of varying pressure and approximately 660 units of gas distribution and control equipment. Of the total network length, over 306 kilometers are underground gas pipelines, and approximately 481 kilometers are aboveground gas systems.
These true experts not only ensure an uninterrupted supply of “blue fuel” to consumers but are also conducting large-scale, coordinated infrastructure modernization. They are carrying out major repairs to existing networks and actively gasifying new residential areas in accordance with national programs. The successful implementation of these plans can be clearly seen in the Nowruz, Merkez-1, Merkez-2 and Suwçy residential complexes, the village of Gulistan and Jumaniyaz Hudaybergenov gengeshlik under the city’s jurisdiction. Moreover, within the framework of Presidential programs under implementation, gas workers have launched large-scale work in collaboration with colleagues from the Dashoguz velayat branch of the Construction and Installation Directorate for Gasification. The past year, 2025, marked an important step in this direction: as part of the implementation of the National Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the Transformation of Social and Living Conditions of the Population of Villages, Settlements, Etrap Towns and Etrap Centers through 2028, over 3,128,000 manats in capital investments have successfully been utilized at Daşoguzşähergaz facilities.
