This forum, which has become an established annual tradition, provides an opportunity to exchange views on priority areas for the development of our country’s fuel and energy complex, ways to enhance mutually beneficial partnerships and modern methods for modernizing the oil and gas industry. Both the International Conference and the concurrent Exhibition offer a platform to explore innovations, cutting-edge developments and new projects.

Our independent and permanently neutral Motherland, endowed with vast hydrocarbon resources, directs its natural wealth not only toward serving national interests but also toward ensuring the well-being of peoples across the region and the world. Joining forces in this endeavor is a crucial prerequisite for achieving our ambitious goals. In this context, diversifying the export capabilities of the fuel and energy complex, developing an extensive pipeline network and strengthening logistical potential are among key priorities of our state’s energy policy.
The Galkynyş gas field, which ranks among the world’s largest in terms of natural gas resources, serves as the primary resource base for expanding natural gas supplies to international markets. The development of this field is being carried out in stages, in accordance with a structured program. In April of this year, the fourth phase of the industrial development of the Galkynyş gas field was launched, and this became a truly historic milestone. This large-scale project represents an important step toward the country’s continued development and a significant increase in the volume of “blue fuel” exports abroad.
Today, our state attaches great importance to expanding natural gas export routes. A key project in this regard is the Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India (TAPI) gas pipeline, the construction of which is aimed at ensuring energy security, well-being and prosperity for the peoples of neighboring countries and the broader region. A vivid testament to the major successes achieved in this sphere is the fact that, during the year, themed “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan – the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,” work is in its final stages on the Serhetabat–Herat gas pipeline, known as “Arkadagyň ak ýoly”, which is a vital link in this infrastructure.
Furthermore, the development of licensed offshore blocks located in the Turkmen sector of the Caspian Sea is proceeding successfully. For the past 30 years, we have maintained mutually beneficial cooperation with leading international oil and gas companies in this area. We intend to continue implementing such projects.

Our country is engaged in extensive efforts to identify new oil and gas condensate fields, to increase their industrial resources, to enhance the efficiency of geological exploration and to develop oil- and gas-bearing strata. To these ends, we have established effective collaboration with foreign companies.
Our Motherland, which is transforming into a powerful industrial state, is diversifying its economy. The National Strategy of the Industrial Development of Turkmenistan for 2030–2045 outlines objectives focused on the processing of hydrocarbon resources and the production of high-quality and environmentally friendly goods. In implementing these initiatives, strict adherence to environmental standards is maintained, and extensive international cooperation, aimed at preserving the environment and reducing the emission of harmful gases, is underway.
Independent and permanently neutral Turkmenistan will continue to create significant opportunities for all interested parties committed to an equal and mutually beneficial partnership. Foreign entrepreneurs will be provided with all the necessary conditions to invest in promising large-scale projects.
In this regard, I am firmly confident that this year’s high-level international conference and exhibition, the 31st of its kind, will be of great importance for exchanging expertise between domestic specialists and international partners and for establishing and fostering broad cooperation in the future.
