On October 17, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov held via the digital system a regular sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which a number of issues regarding state affairs were reviewed, TDH reports.
During the sitting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the ongoing work to organize the 31st International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026.”
As reported, preparations are currently underway for these events, which are scheduled to take place in Ashgabat in accordance with a relevant Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan.
The forthcoming forum serves as vivid evidence of the successful implementation, under the wise leadership of the Head of Turkmenistan, of the initiatives put forward by the Hero-Arkadag to create a favourable investment climate in the country.
The international conference will be held under the motto: “Energy. Cooperation. Development.” The program includes plenary sessions, various forums, round-table discussions and bilateral negotiations.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted for the consideration of the Head of State.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted that international forums and exhibitions are regularly held in the country with the aim of developing the oil and gas sector and strengthening international cooperation in this sphere.
In this context, the Head of State instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure a high level of organization for the International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan – 2026.”
