A roundtable organized by the Council of the Trade Union of Oil and Gas Industry Workers of Turkmenistan was held at the Scientific Research Institute of Natural Gas of the State concern «Türkmengaz». The event was dedicated to occupational health and safety issues, as well as the enhancement of technical safety regulations.
The discussion brought together production division engineers, as well as occupational health and technical safety specialists from across the industry. Participants reviewed compliance with technical safety rules at production facilities and enterprises of the State concerns «Türkmennebit», «Türkmengaz», as well as the State corporation «Türkmengeologiýa», including facilities located in field conditions, as well as in horticultural and forestry zones.
Special attention was paid to the conditions provided for workers and specialists, including those working in the field, the measures implemented for staff occupational safety, compliance with fire safety regulations, and the inclusion of solutions stemming from the country's priority state policy of human welfare into collective agreements, along with their full and accurate implementation. Participants exchanged views on improving occupational safety efforts and heard proposals put forward during the meeting.
Speakers noted that modern technologies and equipment introduced across enterprises and production facilities ease working conditions, boost production rates, and positively impact the environment. According to them, the large-scale national programs aimed at strengthening and restoring human health, improving working conditions, and organizing recreational activities inspire citizens to achieve new professional milestones.
