On August 28, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, at which a number of state matters were discussed, TDH reports.
During the sitting, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Guvanch Agajanov reported on the measures being taken to maintain the uninterrupted operation of oil refineries operated by the Türkmennebit State Concern.
The Deputy Prime Minister reported on ongoing work to modernize the processing industry and to efficiently utilize the capacity of industrial facilities. In particular, everything necessary is being done to ensure a reliable power supply to the technological facilities of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.
In this regard, a corresponding proposal was submitted to the head of state for his consideration.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the effective work being carried out to develop the country’s oil and gas sector and to expand the existing production capacity.
After approving the proposal to carry out major repairs at the facilities of the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries, the head of state ordered to take appropriate measures.
