54 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.

Business representatives from Afghanistan and Uzbekistan purchased liquefied gas produced at the processing units of the State Concern Turkmengas for foreign currency.

Wheat flour, licorice roots and rhizomes, licorice extract, cottonseed oil, and cotton yarn were also sold for foreign currency. The buyers included the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Serbia.

The total transaction value exceeded $19,507,000.

Domestic entrepreneurs purchased petroleum road bitumen (Turkmennebit), cottonseed oil, cotton yarn and fabric, and cotton fiber for the domestic market, totaling more than 244 million manats.
